The Stag and Pheasant is a small, popular traditional rural pub in the village of Newton just north of Rugby, approximately 10 minutes drive from the town centre.
A typical village pub with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and close ties with the local community, as well as enjoying many visitors from the surrounding region. Although not a Free House it is CAMRA listed and has one guest ale alongside it’s permanent ones and a selection of beers from Bank’s Brewery.
It is family friendly and a varied menu of traditional pub grub is served Thursdays to Sundays.
The Stag and Pheasant is very much involved with local pub sports and boasts successful bar skittles and pool team with a darts team is in the planning.
