Review
The Cherry Tree is a traditional village pub set in the picturesque village of Catthorpe, a few minutes’ drive from J19 of the M1. On the day of our visit it hadn’t as yet opened so we were unable to sample any of the Real Ales on offer, though we were informed that Phil and Sue normally have a selection of guest ales to choose from. The pub is CAMRA listed and won the Rugby Summer Pub of the Year 2010 and is also included in the Good Beer Guide.
Food is available at affordable prices and there is a covered patio area at the rear, as well as a garden, which overlooks the River Avon to the South. Small groups and parties can be catered for including during the afternoons when the pub is normally closed.
