Two Wheeled Pub Crawl Leg Two

In August 2010, Paul Flintoft and Jeremy Sadler took part in Rugby’s first two-wheeled pub crawl for charity and it was a resounding success.

Leg One included 20 pubs in the villages of Newton and Clifton-on-Dunsmore, Hillmorton, parts of Bilton and several pubs near the town centre.

Leg two will start off in Catthorpe and take in the villages of Yelvertoft, Crick, Watford, Ashby St Ledgers, Kilsby, Barby, Braunston, Willoughby, Dunchurch and end back up in the town of Rugby.  We will once again visit 20 pubs and hope to raise a record £500 for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

Here’s the details:

What: Two-wheeled pub crawl for charity in Rugby and surrounding villages (east and south)
Where: Starts at the Cherry Tree in Catthorpe and ends at the Merchants Inn
When: Saturday 25th June from 11.15am at the Cherry Tree in Catthorpe.  Expected end time will be approximately 10.30pm at the Merchants Inn

We are looking for a dozen volunteers who like the fresh air, leisurely cycling, indendent pubs and real ale (or any other alcoholic beverage for that matter!).

If you would like to join us for the whole day, or even just a section of the tour, please email paulflintoft@gmail.com or call/text Paul Flintoft on 07789 714041.  Let’s make it a day to remember!

Thank You!

WE DID IT!!  We smashed our target and raised £353.35 for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance: http://www.justgiving.com/paul-flintoft

We would like to thank all the kind people who donated, which includes all the people listed here and all the landlords, staff and punters of the pubs we visited on our pub tour.

We met a lot of warm, friendly and interesting people on our travels and we were made to feel welcome in every pub we visited.
